Hello my name is Gozde! I am an academician at Istanbul Marmara University. Taking part in this project has added a lot to me and my students. We had detailed information about sustainable development and paralympic sports. Besides that, I think I improved myself teaching methods, teamwork and education through game and sports. I’m excited to gain new insights through the ongoing project process.
My name is Baki, and I head up the Station de Jeunesse Youth Association. It’s a privilege to be part of this project. As a youth organization, we’re eager to engage young people on this topic. I want to express our gratitude to all the partners who are helping us foster a united European consciousness. Looking forward to our next meeting.
Greetings! I am Lieta, one of the participants of the Ukrainian team. I recently returned from the project “Inclusive Resilience: Creating Environmental Sustainability and Disaster Resilience through Paralympic Sports”. From May 12 to 18, in the French city of Strasbourg, teams from Italy, Turkey, Albania and France explored the goals of sustainable development and improved their leadership skills, and of course, explored each other’s cultures. The project was full of interesting lectures on ecology and interactive games that promoted team building. The highlight of our program was a visit to the European Parliament. I was in Strasbourg for less than 5 days, although I left with the feeling that I had lived here all my life.
My name is Merve, I am a Turkish language teacher and I am a participant from the Youth Station Strasbourg. The atmosphere was great, I really enjoyed it. It was a very multicutural week and I made some good connections during this project. I eagerly await follow-up.
My name is Mariia and I am a participant from the Ukrainian team. The project was indeed full of positive emotions, meaningful talks, new acquaintances, and of course, knowledge. We focused on ecology, leadership skills, and the image and expertise of a perfect trainer and leader. During our free time, we were touring Strasbourg as well as visiting Colmar and Paris. The last day was spent in the EU Parliament, which provided a fascinating look into the EU’s legislative heart, featuring impressive modern architecture and a rich multilingual atmosphere. Grateful for this experience!
Hey everyone! I’m so grateful for the chance I had to participate in this project that took place in Strasburg in May as a member of the Italian team. It has been my first time approaching to such topics so that every lecture I attended has been a precious source of new knowledges. Those days have been super engaging and I enjoyed a lot the activities in groups where we could face real life issues about different aspects of sustainability practices. I’m very thankful for the organizers who gave us the opportunity to work all together and gain new skills and I’m looking forward to join this training again!
My name is Nureda. I am a physical education and sports teaching student at Marmara University but you may remember me as the dancing girl :)) In this project, we worked on main topics such as sustainability, natural disasters and their effects on our world, leadership and how to be a good trainer. The teamwork we did was the most memorable part of the project for me, I think it was very productive. In addition, we had nice conversations and made friends, we became a good team. We had the experience of traveling and seeing Strasbourg. In summary, I am very happy to be a part of this project, thank you for everything. I hope our paths will cross again in other projects.
